Down here in Jersey Acting Governor Dick Codey announced that he will not be running for the governor seat. Richard Cody, who has been governor for 10 weeks in light of Mcgreevy's scandal has said that he does not plan for the position of governor. It seems that the Democratic Nomination will most likely go to Senator Corzine, the rich guy. I personally think that goverenor was trying to be to powerful especially when he was not elected by the people but public approval of him seemed pretty high(even after his run in with carton of NJ 101.5). This comes to a suprise to many who wanted Codey to run, including my dad. Personally I think this is all part of Corzine's plot for presidency. First be a senator, then a governor, then president. And he has the money too.
